I am a contemporary surrealist who explores his internal and external experiences, and existence as a human being in the 21st century, to transform them into images. It is my intention to understand and address my placement in the world as a “Neo-Surrealist”.
Being born in 1970, I have been exposed to the politics, states of the economy, and cultural shifts of the world I live in, from the 1970s to the present. Through art, I respond to many of my personal questions relevant to how I exist as myself in the world. Amongst these questions, I ask "Where am I", "How did my past guide me to this", and "What actions should I presently take?" to help me understand my position in the here and now. I think that it is possible that many may be asking similar questions that concern orientation in this uncertain, undefined, and continuously changing world.
